My op disappeared less than a day after I posted it

It was

About the child tax credit

It had 50 rec and pretty good discussion going then it was gone

Maybe i set my account up wrong? Can I change it?

Is it possible that you accidentally added the thread to your Trash Can? Click "My Account" at the top right of the page, select the "Trash Can" tab, and scroll down to see if it's in your "Trashed Threads" list -- if so, you can restore it from there.
