History of Feminism
Related: About this forumWhen did Feminism become History?
Is it now an arcane movement of the past? Did we already reach equality, and I missed it?
Just wondering what happened.

The History of Feminism group serves as a safe haven to discuss, and learn the history of feminism. Apply the lessons of historical and modern day feminist struggles to current issues and events that impact women. This group will also serve as safe haven for women (and supporters of feminism) to openly and honestly discuss and learn how the patriarchy affects women individually and collectively.

(41 posts)History is an ongoing process; it is not just the past, but how the past shapes the present and our hopes and fears about the future. History is, simply put, a word that describes the interplay between the past (the different interpretations of it), the present, and the future.
In this sense, feminism is not done. There isn't enough equality in the US. Lesser still in several SE Asian countries. So, feminism is all the more necessary today, and it is not, and in fact cannot, be done.
