Rebecca Watson explains why she's not going to stop talking about feminism and the abuse women face online, no matter how much it upsets the dudes to hear it.
Given the uptick in brogressive demands that women stop bothering them with their problems, this video seems topical.

But they won't. They don't think it's important and besides, it makes them uncomfortable in ways they don't want to have to think about.

(40,416 posts)She is a kind of in your face feminism that is probably needed in these sometimes dark "Todd Akin" days.
There are many guys, like me, and like PZ Myers, and like many others, who stand proudly next to Rebecca on these issues. All others are merely making fucking excuses. Or worse.
I'm a guy that's been on the side of changing the rules at cons to make women more comfortable the whole time. This is one of those phases I think every progressive group goes through at one time or another. Eventually even the most die hard exclusionary thinkers will come down on the side of inclusion when they finally realize that women are half the population and if you don't include them, your movement will die. Not the most noble of sentiments, but at least we can get them to stop harassing people.
