The first versions of those artworks were actually more letter-sized, if I remember correctly. The first thing that happened to them when she hung them up was that people started to deface them with comments about how the men were complimenting them and how much of a (insert curseword here) she was.

I'm really glad that her answer to that kind of bullshit was to make the art pieces again, just larger. Hahah.

ETA: my bad, they were a little big ger than letters. Here's what I was talking about.

At least she raises awareness. Sh hasn't dropped off the grid either-- the media is still paying a certain amount of attention
