Related: About this forumThank you.
Just thank you for being here.
I can't say anything else right now.
I've never done this before. I'm kind of falling apart. But knowing you guys are here and standing by me makes all the difference in the world today.
I have to log off for a while.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

You take a break and remember we are always here to support you.

(22,871 posts)so incredibly heartfelt, courageous and righteous and the response was so vile I felt sick to my stomach reading it.
sufrommich
(22,871 posts)puts the thread in the public eye and I'm not sure it should go there. You all do what you want .

(106,212 posts)A rec to show support can have a very different impact, given the public attention it will bring.

(22,871 posts)going out to all of DU because JT was hurting and came here to vent to HoF. I could be totally wrong and everybody should certainly do what they feel. Does that make sense?

we must stand strong in solidarity. She posted in GD. The post was alerted. The World is bigger than DU3.
All over the world women are coming forth.
Giving Their Testimony.
I think rec-ing this thread gives validation and witness to her testimony.
Normally, I would say YMMV ... but, not this time. Not This Time.
Now is the time to take a stand.
Let our voices be heard in grace and harmony.
Please, Give Power to the Truth.
Think about it.
Take action.

(34,358 posts)experienced things similar. You had to courage to talk about it when the right moment arose. I think only seabeyond has a clue what my story is and I think it will have to stay that way.
Surrounding you in warm feelings of safety and friendship. From the bottom of my heart, thank YOU.

(3,180 posts)The person in that thread seems to be so stubbornly obtuse and self absorbed as to absolutely hopeless.

(115,164 posts)And so many more women that you don't even know, and who don't know you - but who would never step metaphorical foot in a place that allowed such freedom and tolerance to those who so obviously hostile to feminists who call out the non-brogressive-approved issues.
Take care of yourself, woman. Reach out if you need to. Any one of us is here for you.

(860 posts)I can't believe they said those things to you. It was very callous of them.
Don't give up. There are more people who have gone through similar things that you have gone through, they're just not brave enough to talk so openly about it. When you talk about it openly, you are an inspiration to those who haven't managed to find their voice yet.
You did a good thing. And you're not alone.

(54,728 posts)I saw the beginning of your subthread but then posted, got offline, and didn't finish read the rest of the subthread until a bit ago. I can't say how sorry I am that you were treated with such cruelty today. It's shocking how little compassion some have for other human beings. I want to let you know that I stand with you and support you.

He's been flagged three time for having 2 posts hidden in a 24 hour period. Was let back on two of those time. Wonder what will happen this third time.
