Related: About this forumTo my great delight, someone gave me a heart. And I suspect it was one of you women.
Thanks very much to whomever, it's appreciated.

(64,929 posts)I love the support you all offer to me and all our sisters (and our caring men). It is a good place to be when things get raw for us on DU...

(64,929 posts)and to regain my sanity sometimes. I wish I could say the same for this entire board, that I used to have a great deal of affection for. I don't even recommend it to my liberal friends any more. However, I can find some wonderful people posting great stuff and I do continue to come here because of them...

(860 posts)I Just have to say how much I agree that HOF often feels like one of the few sane places left on DU. I look forward to coming here every day, to see what kind of interesting articles have been posted. Whenever arguments break out on DU, and I see someone from this group I actually feel a great deal of affection for them too - because they often stand up for the weakest and for those who have been raped, and the way they frame the issues makes a lot of sense to me. Their strength makes me feel safe enough to make my voice heard, too.
All of you are all wonderful people. I am so glad that I found this place.

(4,035 posts)I don't think I've hardly ever gotten a heart for Valentine's on DU, but then I didn't post much before.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS
What a rude personal attack.
JURY RESULTS
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Tue Feb 11, 2014, 02:50 AM, and the Jury voted 5-1 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Yeah, this poster is one of the rudest of the rude. To come into a protected group to make such an idiotic comment to somebody thanking others for giving hearts??? This one is many ingredients short of anything.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Quite. Unnecessary post that makes DU suck. Not as much as being a virulent anti-choice that for some reason gets full-reign of the board, but I'm voting to hide based on this post alone, not the poster's right-wing history.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: That was lame
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
