#IdleNoMore has exploded into a global movement in the last week. Here are some ways you can show your solidairty with First Nations as they fight for their sovereignty in Canada. Write Directly to PM Harper of Canada and to his pastor Bill Buitenwerf to urge the PM to do the right thing. You can also sign Idle No Mores petition.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 9th, concerned folks will travel to Albany for the Rally to Stop Fracking in NY at the State of the State Address. Busses are taking people to this rally so if you want to go, click on the link for all the logistical info.
The Tar Sands Blockade has been fighting the good fight against Keystone XL Pipeline in Texas, including solidarity actions across the country involving activists overtaking TransCanada offices in Texas and Massachusetts. Check out how you can help protestors get out of jail.
Occupy New England is planning their 3rd Regional Convergence for January 26th with 350 New England. It will be a day of regional action for the environment.
