Michigan gas prices surge 33 cents to highest point since 2023, AAA saysGas prices in Michigan exploded 33 cents a gallon in the past week to hit their highest point in two and a half years, according to AAA-The Auto Club Group.
The average price of $3.92 a gallon is the highest since August 2023, but a little lower than the national pump price of $3.96, according to AAA.
It is $1.07 more than a month ago and 74 cents higher than the same time in 2025, officials said.
Motorists in the state are paying an average of $59 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline, AAA reported.

range from $3.69 to $3.99 today according to Gas Buddy. "He did that"

Gas prices at the pump here shot up 30% in one day after Trump bombed Iran and the price of oil jumped.
I reckon they will lower prices just as fast, right?
Gas price in the last month here has gone from $2.79 per gallon to $3.99 per gallon.
The usual suspects are getting rich by ripping us off, and the President and his family and cronies are leading the way.

(4,036 posts)5. Gas prices in my area of Texas went from around $2.15 - $2.25 per gallon, diesel about a dollar more, at the start of
this idiocy, to around $3.40 - $3.60 today with diesel ranging from a low of about $4.50 to a high of $5.20.
Edited to add: Back into the 1970s embargo mindset, drive as little as possible, and combine errands into one chunk.
