Brand new here.

Not sure if I fit in.

Sometimes I "force" myself to be with people because it's good for me. Other times, I'm truly gregarious. And hilarious. At least to me. After a few drinks.

I live with only my husband of 39 years and our various animals, out in the country. We have one grown daughter - born after 13 years of marriage. It was an intentional decision. She is our crown jewel.

I married a cruel narcissistic woman.

I am largely estranged from 3 daughters who learned how to treat men from their mother.

I have a son who I am exceptionally close with.

Without disclosing much else I have learned in my life that putting too much trust in others can really hurt you.

Taking control over your ecosystem for a while is not the worst thing in the world.

Just my opinion.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that I suspect many of us here are misfits of one sort or another.

If you haven't already done it you might have fun taking the test.

Welcome.

It's good to know that even we happily married people can consider ourselves loners.

The Loner Group is like finding a secret hidey hole behind a bookcase. We're the cool, secret room of DU!

Love seeing ya on the outside, but welcome to our little sanctuary!

I like being here.

In school, I was unpopular even with the other unpopular kids. So it's nice to have a sanctum sanctorum...
