Starting tonight, we will have a series of 4 full supermoons in a row.

Next come 2 supermoons in August and 1 in September. Supermoons don’t necessarily look bigger, but they do look brighter! Also, the 2nd supermoon of August will be the closest full supermoon this year and a Blue Moon.

We’re anchored in Dun Cove off Tighman Island in the Chesapeake. It’s hazy now but hopefully it’ll clear up this evening.
