Just NO! "Brain-like human tissue implanted in rat brains...

"Brain-like human tissue implanted in rat brains influenced their behavior.

Seven years ago, researchers at Stanford University started an ambitious experiment: They began growing miniature, simplified versions of the human brain from stem cells inside a lab, then later injected that tissue into the brains of newborn rats.

Their results, published Wednesday in the journal Nature, showed that the brain-like human tissue integrated with the rat tissue, then continued to mature.

Those brain cells, in turn, seemed to influence the rats’ behavior.

I realize these scientists are trying to help, even cure human cognitive problems.

"Eventually, this type of rat model could be used to study psychiatric disorders, autism or neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s, and even to identify new treatments or test their effectiveness."

However, I'm one of those people who do not believe the end always justifies the means. I also opposed many other animal experimentations, like those in psychology labs. (Had a dozen college hrs. of psych courses myself.)

Human Mind consists of brain activity. But, Mind also consists of soul energy, which is why Mind survives death, can escape the brain and observe even if the physical eyes and ears are disabled.

...journalists try to discuss science.

My standard joke is that one can't get a degree in journalism if you have passed a college level science course with a grade of C or better.

Besides, if they wanted to influence rat behavior, all they had to do was have them listen to trump for 5 minutes. They'd be throwing their cheese at the TV.
