(Jewish Group) Kansas City Jewish community center vandalized during Hanukkah
A Kansas City Jewish community center was vandalized during Hanukkah on Tuesday.
"There is nothing more disturbing than walking into the Chabad house for an early morning Torah class and finding the place torn up," Rabbi Yitzchak Itkin said in a Facebook post, The Associated Press reported. "That was my reality this week."
The Jewish community and educational center in Kansas City suffered from water damage, electric wires had been destroyed and books and papers thrown around.
Kansas City police arrived at the center after receiving reports of glass breaking and a black SUV outside the building.

Unlike past years, I have seen a disturbing amount of attacks on the Jewish community during Chanukkah. I am often accused here of only stirring up stories about anti-Semitism, but when they are coming across my usual haunts, some aren't even Jewish in nature, that is a real problem. Are we heading for another Tree of Life tragedy? Probably.
