Christian Nationalism

Imagine a nation based on the values that Jesus taught.
Love thy neighbor
Turn the other cheek
Forgive
Help the sick, the poor

As a Christian, I would welcome true Christian Nationalism.

Has anyone else ever had thoughts like this?

No. Christianity, in general, has been hijacked by the right and perverted into something it is not.
The prosperity gospel et al. Republican Jesus riding a t-rex and carrying a rifle. And so on..

That implies that your "Christian" values only apply within your national borders.

Not sure your Jesus would understand that reasoning.

I've been toying with my border policy beliefs lately.
I know that it is not politically popular, but I support and open border and universal citizenship.

Jesus would certainly not think a soul of foreign citizenship was any less of a soul.
