How do we even talk to the people who have died??? I just wish we could…….my husband died on May 4th this year, damn near a month ago. He wasn’t himself, the guy I fell in love with. He had dementia, and really wasn’t the guy I loved for at least 2 years. We were married in 1980…….tons of good times, and about 2021 he did start showing signs of not being the man I fell in love with. Dementia just sucks. I want to tell him I love him, I miss him and I want him back. Damn it, damn it damn it.

You can believe in his spirit being available without believing some old diety is sitting somewhere ready to do things. So just say his name three times, give him a bit of time to arrive or tune in, and then say what you want to say to him, also reassure him that you will join him in time.
