Denver-based Catholic order identifies 13 friars with credible sex abuse allegations

More abuse enabled and covered up by religion.

https://kdvr.com/2019/03/28/denver-based-catholic-order-identifies-13-friars-with-credible-sex-abuse-allegations/

A Denver-based Catholic order identified 13 friars with credible sexual abuse allegations against them Thursday.

The Capuchin Province of St. Conrad is based in Denver and covers Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. It also includes the diocese of Belleville, Peoria and Springfield in Illinois as well as two houses in San Antonio, Texas.

All of the allegations involve either a minor or a vulnerable adult.

Shameful.

...where they would be even more venerated and less likely to get caught.

This kind of shit is pure evil which goes way beyond the predators themselves. Kind of pathetic to write it off as "human nature".

You mean the people who don't have the institution of the Catholic Church protecting them and covering up their crimes?

Gee, I wonder how those situations are different. Maybe here in the Religion group we should be able to analyze that.

Don't forget about the Chinese atheists, or those Boston atheists who were mean to the Trump supporter.
