A medical examiner's report indicates that there were injuries on Ethan's body, including blunt force trauma to the head, abdomen and chest as well as a fractured rib. Those injuries correspond with Damian's statement to police that he thought he had struck Ethan 100 times. He also allegedly hit Ethan's twin.
"Over the course of 1-1.5 hours, the 15-year-old hit, kicked, struck and poked Ethan numerous times. He repeatedly shoved Ethan to the ground and rolled the heavy log across Ethans chest. He stood on his body and head while Ethan was face-down in a puddle," the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office said.
Damian also admitted to authorities that he covered Ethan with snow, placing him in his own little coffin of snow, the criminal complaint says.

(147,386 posts)A 7-year-old child is dead for not being sufficiently indoctrinated. There is an adult involved, as well.
History is full of murders based on religious fervor.
When will there be an end to this? Only when religion is no more, I fear.

(5,090 posts)Made me sick to my stomach. That poor baby must have been so scared. The 15 year old sounds like a true psychopath.
I wonder what this part is about:
"According to the criminal complaints obtained by Action 2 News, Ethan and his siblings were put in the Hauschultzes care in 2017."
Were the kids removed from the home at some point and then returned? Or maybe fosters?
I really hope they are all in safe, loving homes now.

(16,587 posts)He has grown up under the fist of a brutal and twisted man, being told to abuse the younger kids.
Thats really sick.
What happened to him if he refused? Ha she been so abused himself that he lived in fear of the man?
Whatever normal emotions he should possess have probably been beaten out of him.

(13,710 posts)I can't imagine the pain, confusion and fear that he felt, and I hope he is at peace now. Rest little guy. My heart is broken, and the cruelty that family inflicted on him is incomprehensible to me. I hope their consciences make them suffer.
