Grand Tactician: The Civil War Clearly in early access-- but WOW!

If you are into tactical ans strategy gaming, check this one out. It is far from done, the graphics are far from astonishing, and the game play is a little jerky at times.

But wow! It is an ambitious game. I hesitate to call it an "open world" game, but you are pretty much free to do whatever you want. I sent a fleet of hips to aid Fort Sumter and saved it. I had Richmond in May of 1861 and Atlanta by June. Again-- still early access, but amazingly promising if this is your thing.

1. I've been watching History Guy Gaming play it on You Tube.

Looks pretty good, but I'll wait. He already got me hooked on Bannerlords. 😄

2. I've watched him play it as well.

It needs a lot of work so waiting might be a good idea. The map controls are really touchy and things happened that are difficult to grok. The AI needs work.

But as a playable pre-release I see a lot of promise.


I'll check out Bannerlords. This is the first I even herd the name!
