Here we go
I stopped at the dispensary last Sunday morning and got their Sunday Special... An ounce of Top Shelf Mystery Bud for $150. Since stopped in before noon, I got a 15% discount, and with my 15% for living in town, I get a full 30% off, so a nice ounce for $105. I forget what they told me it was... Freakin names of weed need to be standardized, they keep coming up with the weirdest shit anyway... But it is wicked potent
I have a nice spaghetti dinner I'm going to go eat momentarily, then just a few more hours till I finally get to fire this one up. Be back in a few hours
9:36 MST as I start this - I'm fucking drooling... I've been watching twitch for time zones that already have release... Europe mostly by the sound of the language... This game looks freakin awesome. 've been avoiding any press about it for a long while now and I am so glad
I'm relaxed in my gaming space, laid back with a bottle of Patron and the vaporizer well used tonight already, with more to come. I am so glad I took the rest of this week off for this... Watching so far tells me yes.
The game looks average in terms of graphics... A lot of pop-up. But it is so freakin huge and so far pretty damn unique. I get the last download and will be firing it up in about 15 minutes now. I'll update soon.
10:46 - OMFG.... Yeah... This is the shit It tosses you in with little to no instruction and gives you help messages. Your first priority is fixing your equipment and ship... I'm about 50 minutes in and almost there... The first few minutes were very WTF? But it quickly settles down and is pretty damn intuitive. Fix the scanner first... You should be ok from there
I'm feeling very mellow... The Patron is kicking in and I've done two more bowls in the vaporizer So I'm probably done updating for the night... I really want to lay back and play, it is that freakin good. As I said, I'm off all week, so I will be updating throughout.

Yukari Yakumo
(3,013 posts)That was a disaster. I didn't touch this thing because, for lack of better words, I know better than to pre-order anything. But wow, this is on Aliens: Colonial Marines levels of false advertising, perhaps way past even that.
Sean Murray is getting compared unfavorably to Peter Molyneux, for damned good reason.
