I am going anti state of the art high tech gaming... (RPG MO)

since my falling out with Blizzard I am going luddite and playing this:

It's called RPG MO (I find out MO are the initials of the main dev guy - I believe they are from Estonia)

So old timey it reminds me of Dragon Warrior - fond memories. Seems to have a fairly decent group of people and a good number too, (and a helpful crowd in the chat for questions as the game hasn't been around all that long don't think and the wiki and stuff still has a lot of work ahead) - for a game like this I was expecting tumble weeds but maybe others are going for the nostagia thing like I am.

There seems to be a good back and forth between players and admin - suggestions are taken, help is donated for graphics, kind of small and homey kind of feel, which is nice. Guilds and multi combat are expected in a release soon.

yay. mama, I'm home.
O yeah, you can buy houses and furnish them here too. That's what I'm spending most of my time there.

but Icewind Dale invokes fonder ones, especially when you could play it over again in Heart of Fury mode with the Heart of Winter expansion. Such a sweet, sweet game

and highly recommended. If you want to play it in wide screen resolution, there is a patch somewhere that does it, I'll locate it if you are interested. I think there is one for BG, too
