This is how the odds are stacking up since the Monday nighter:

Anyone else you would argue is more deserving?

Yeah well that's what a clone would be, so I guess the Patriots QB is not. milestogo Dec 30 #9

mounted a ferocious comeback, but still fell short.

Yeah, the 3 INTS were costly. Not having Davante Adams also hurts. But that's football.

I heard Brady had his dog cloned. Maybe he had himself cloned too!

he would want a spitting image, no variations. He probably thinks there's no improvements to be made on his greatness.

However, you can still get a wonderful dog at the humane society, so I don't really get why you would clone your old one. Unless you have money to burn.

He has never won the MVP despite arguably a HoF career. Sentimental feelings might cause some to vote for him even though Maye has a better passing percentage and is much more mobile. Stafford has 12 more passing TDs, 8 more TDs overall, and a couple hundred more yards passing. Maye has more yards overall if you include his rushing yards. They're tied at eight picks each.

Stafford is near the end of his career if not at the end, and Maye has a bright future. This might be seen as Stafford's last shot, and more than one sportswriter may want to reward him for a great career.
