When I see one of your bird posts I usually pick one to save to my computer. These are so fantastic that I'm having trouble choosing one. Thanks!

Most of what I see here in the southern Rockies (at least here in the city) are the usual barn swallows, hummingbirds, and a remarkably talented mocking bird that I never saw but who'd serenade me and all the lady birds in the area for a good 2 hours at a time.

I was occasionally visited by a roadrunner and there are mourning doves in the area. The drought has depleted the population of everything, including the birds.

I miss the chickadees back east. I don't miss the red wing blackbirds, my gawd what a racket they'd make.
