2. Looks like Burrowing Owls - but I could be wrong.

My son got some great pictures of them in Cape Coral, FL over the weekend.

My wife sent me a few photos of our son in action. He's 6' 4" and is sitting on a driveway near the county library while taking photos of the owls 15' in front of him. The birds are pretty patient subjects.

It was suggested (by me) that he turn a few of them into Father's Day presents for me. He said he's planning on getting a few printed on metal sheets.

3. These cuties do look like Burrowing Owls. My friend lives in the Cape

And the vacant lot next door to her has these little guys. I don’t know if it’s the city or the wildlife people but they come out n put markers for their protection. The few times I got to see them, they were so small and she and her neighbors are very protective of them. The lot cannot be sold while they are nesting and she’s just fine with that
