Ive seen an occasional raptor around here, but not many. A whole flock of geese, too, in a grassy area near our freeway on/offramp. Never saw that many geese in one area before!
Btw - thanks for the close-up photos! Remarkable bird! I find them absolutely fascinating.

Last year, they took over the osprey nest, so we saw no osprey chicks.
