Related: About this forumI just bought a 2006 Pontiac Solstice convertible
I got a great deat, it's being delivered tomorrow. I always wanted a small sports car, and I miss driving a stick. Over the years I've always denied myself, now I'm 74 and said WTF. Anybody familiar with them?

(6,467 posts)but the short production run ended by the closing of Pontiac/Saturn worried me that parts would be hard to get eventually.

(108 posts)I've owned a few Saturns and the engine is or is based off the ecotec. I had some issues with burning oil in my first ecotec, but the 2nd one ran great. The weakness of the Saturns was the automatic transmission so getting it in manual alleviates the biggest problem. Just keep the fluids changed and enjoy.

(20,760 posts)It seems every time GM came up with a cool car they killed it. Corvair, Vega, Astrovan, and Monza for example.
I have a '71 TR6, but sometimes I'd like the conveniences of power windows, A/C, and comfort that a new car provides. Let's see a pic.
