Seahawks Hire Klint Kubiak As Offensive Coordinator
The Seahawks hired Klint Kubiak as the team's new offensive coordinator on Sunday, ending a search that began earlier this month after the team parted ways with Ryan Grubb following the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Kubiak, who spent last season as the offensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints, will take over leadership of the Seahawks offense, his third offensive coordinator role in the NFL having also held that title with the Vikings in 2021 and the Saints last season.
Among Kubiak's many tasks in his new role will be building an offense that can help the entire team play with the identity that head coach Mike Macdonald is looking for.
"We want (the offense) to mirror our football team," Macdonald said in his end-of-season press conference. "All the things we've been talking about
We want our offense to be a physical unit and dictate terms to the defense, and play complementary football, and get the ball to our playmakers frequently in space, and let our quarterback play fast."
