(69,654 posts)While she obviously us a great shooter, Tim Legler says she's a great SCORER because she's an elite passer!
She sees the court so well & can pass with both hands, that there is no way to cheat defensively on her.
Overplay one side, bring the double team too soon and she'll be feeding teammates for layups all night.
He said because of that, she is always in a place where she can create her own open shot.
He said she's the best passer he's ever seen in women's basketball at any level.
I buy his analysis. The defense doesn't just fear her shooting. They have to fear her teammates because if they're open, Clark will find them.

According to an announcement from ESPN, more than 12 million people tuned in to watch Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes avenge their national title loss to Angel Reese and the Tigers. Clark dropped 41 points en route to a 94-87 victory that became the most-watch gamed in women's basketball history.
