After conducting a hold-in during the Seahawks first two training camp practices, star wide receiver DK Metcalf appears to have his new contract.
According to ESPNs Adam Schefter, the 24-year-old wideout has agreed to a three-year extension with the Seahawks worth up to $72 million, with $58.2 million of that deal guaranteed. According to Schefter, Metcalfs new contract comes with a $30 million signing bonus, which is the largest in NFL history for a wide receiver.
In terms of annual money, which is $24 million, Metcalf would be the sixth-highest-paid receiver in the NFL, while his $58.2 million guarantee is the seventh-highest among NFL receivers.
The new contract keeps Metcalf in Seattle through the 2025 season as its a three-year extension on top of his rookie contract, which was set to expire after the 2022 season. Metcalf doesnt turn 25 until this December and will be 28 years old when his new deal expires.

(4,770 posts)The last draft was weak in QBs. I'm sure they could manage a good draft pick with the current roster.
