The 2022 lacrosse season has officially begun in men's Division I, as Mercer took down rival Bellarmine, 9-4 on Saturday afternoon in Macon, Ga.

(5,676 posts)3. To that crowd, Lemans is the biggest event of the year, although
it's not on the IMSA calendar. The finale is a ten hour event at Road Atlanta.
Having the Daytona 24 hour race at the end of January allows a number of high profile drivers from other types of racing to join in before getting dedicated to their own series, such as Indycar and Nascar.
Usually it's warmer but this year most of the race was run under 40 degrees. Cold tires don't grip as good.
