A wondering about Kings, and the idea of the first Throne

Kings and Kingdoms seem old and odd,
In religion, there is the King of all Kings,
and this Throne is an end point, an imagined place,
or possibly a plight.
All highest of high beyond sky,
in daylight, or Night.
Some far-off unimaginable place,
A zenith, perhaps once real,
that was lost, but could singularly,
be captured, somehow by all one day.
I wondered what started the whole
episode and why.
The wolf
The wolf she was smarter than ---
The whole pack, so much so, that she
gave it new life with her bravery,
and with her love, upon the forest,
she once lead other wolves to
find new ways to lead the way
long after she died.
As a King, so complex, so beyond
what any wolf personally could
comprehend.
The howling at night
The black night in the forest,
the stars thick in the night skies above.
The Throne, the only place to find
her, they all howled.
Each and all; almost by instinct,
As if to bow down to her,
where she stood on her throne
As the one true King.
High above.
perhaps in the forest each wolf
needed to see well in the darkest of night.
Each learning by playing early on in their youth,
so that they too understood,
that they belonged within the pack.
Yet not by instinct alone.
As if each one was somehow cared
for by her own or his own
pack, with no known pact,
no understood caveat,
other than the crudest empathy
of survival during the winters toughness
was something always to be shared.
And or the heat in the forest,
brought with it more and more unfavorable silent disease
upon them all.
Just in the eyes of one wolf nudging their snout
against another and feeling good.
It would be good enough to find the placement.
Right here, in the other wolf's eyes.
A passerby, a howl
A suffering sadness
A howl.
A new found promise
in any darkness
A howling in mystical ways
A meta melancholy
inherent within each a shared
respect and dignity.
And then, well, now we got Trump.
Now, history even with the internet
is more fuzzy, and a wolf
is a wolf in sheep's clothing
or else it's a wolf threatening.
Constantly threatening, to blow the little Pigs
house down,
with some big manmade bomb.
Peace!
