Candlelit Space Ships
Candle Lit Spaceships
The story ridden over high stepped mountains
shiver in tandem with gleaming distaste,
Born in loins never denied moment,
yet teeter on the chasm's brink
where one un‑dotted eye, or slip of wagging,
embarks all on return journey
to begin immortal job again,
Under the guns of strange creatures
who cannot weld, shoot on sight!
though blind as one eye staring back
at restless cruisers overgrowing a fixation,
(though some weld idols to distinguished testes)
The rider gets off on hot cold plains
far away from masking tape,
and explains in card constructs,
necessity only he understands,
an impossible made harder,
as nascent butterfly bulls eyes creep
To rest in garbage dumps dug
in contrived lodes whose beginning rhyme with juvenile bother
unaided by books, set out for masses,
thrown up in comfort old fox home,
Where fine gossips with rarity,
and click tongues at un‑washed emulators...
that's paranoia's pee handed back,
on rivulets of the deads' breath
hurrying to where
the also points its contribution!
If huddling miscues roger wrecking crews,
timeless in scaring away;
new motto follows old, year by year
for ennui's sake,
Until best gets bothered
to fling caution
where even belly up it's downwind;
Darkness chipped in unyielding side
allows fresh spoilage to take place
on runways of suction cups,
Jalopy confidence blossoming
despite bull's eye leeches
clinging to exposed niks,
Never tattooed by defeat
though rundown by side-effects
Stark still awake in darkened
spaceship going to unknown
in search of retrospect,
Every step of the way
intersects with paths of least resistance,
Making wax of rendered silence,
And wicks of one step at a time
Having seen mountaineers
with machined instincts of experience,
tucking the unimaginable
into awesome displays,
And still defying the best advice
of the intellectual gangster,
The will to carry on strong rollicking
aims the bow of the cranky monster
At bull's eyes hid in busy signals
the distraction waving away arms,
And hoping for the best confessed
when trying to fail
sometimes mistakes are made happy.
