Bending The Breaking Point

Can you bend the breaking point,
stretch time out so thin as to think
the past can be stretched out such that
peoples real lives in the past
meant nothing.
Can you stretch it out and go with
it as it comes---
As if to looking back meant one would be
turned to stone, whenever, leaving
behind all the sins---isn't this just another place.
Can you Chauvinistically justify,
living on faith alone, without
seeing the truth and wondering
at all about what you brought.
Here, with others with whom you
depend upon every day-- and are here just like you
So stop and take a listen
If you can truly listen you can be insightful
there is no bending in the truth
but it can be difficult for many to find.
