I haven't seen that last season, so I'm not sure how Jon Snow comes to his end. But, judging from the rest of the series and how the rest of the characters are treated and treat each other, I'm guessing it isn't good. :p

I read the TV series is missing a major character.

In the books after the Red Wedding when the Starks are slaughtered the mother resurrects to seek revenge as Lady Stoneheart.
