Some of a collection of a few thousand garnered over the years.
If you've seen some, sorry 'bout that.

(1,078 posts)you put into your daily cartoons. So thought I'd try.
It was kinda fun. But to do it every day? Are you still sane?
BTW, the WWII cartoons are, as Artie Johnson used to say, very interesting!
Thanks for the help, KS.

(19,466 posts)I volunteered to help JHB out a long time ago when s/he was on a couple week vacation, it was fun
so after that I started doing the Sunday Funnies. But now since doing the carTOONS 5 times a week
plus Doonesbury and the Funnies on the weekend is getting a bit overwhelming.
Would you like to take over doing the Sunday Funnies, I'll supply you with all the hints & tips you'll need.
Takes just shy of an hour, and you'll make a lot of new friends.

(1,078 posts)Appreciate the offer but I plan to try to remain somewhat sane. Besides, nobody could take your place doing those things!
As to new friends, I've already alienated a few because of misinterpreted things I've posted.
As I said, after doing a few of these part time, I understand your sacrifice.
And since I have many thousands of these, sorting dupes is time consuming enough.
Adding to that, my wife and I run a small kennel for cats. Over the years we've had MANY feral strays spayed or neutered, re-released and found homes for many. And, of course, have adopted too many ourselves! It's already a full time job.
Just know that reading your cartoons is a nice daily release from the "wonderfulness" of life!
Thanks again.
