George R. R. Martin Might Have Made Some Heads Explode With New Chapter From "The Winds Of Winter"
George R. R. Martins A Song of Ice and Fire series has become notorious for plenty of things, not all of them good long, entertaining, full of food, political intrigue, sex and murder, well-written characters and of course, painfully long periods between each book. With five SoIaF titles out, Martins writing process has become something of a running joke online. So when he released a chapter yes, thats right, hes doing it one chapter at a time now of the next book, The Winds of Winter, the internet exploded.

Be warned... Not only is it a spoiler (what else could a whole chapter from an upcoming book be?) but I found it to be... Whoa

(63,645 posts)When is a spoiler not a spoiler?
I have read all the books so far, and I intend to read Winds of Winter and whatever comes after that.
If I read that chapter, is it a spoiler? Well, technically, no -- because it's the actual book. The book can't spoil itself. Still, I kind of want to wait for the actual book in its entire book form.
Still, if I don't read the chapter, will someone spoil it before I read it? It's a conundrum.

(21,894 posts)It concerns character development of Arya, not really advancement of the overall story... If you are up to date on the books, it is not anything you don't know is coming.
I saw that the chapter was up two or three days ago and was going to avoid it but... I was also only a few chapters away from finishing A Dance With Dragons and when I finally finished it last night... I just could not resist The only bad part about reading it is that I'm still dying for more, heh.
