Just finished the audio version of Ruth Ben-Ghiat's "Strongmen"

It was just like I expected. The author shows the similarities between some of history's recent authoritarians, including both Trump and Putin. The book was a little on the dry side (and the reader was not my favorite), but the book does what it set out to do. If you want to know how much Trump is similar to other authoritarians, this is the place to find that. It seemed like a good follow-up to Rachel Maddow's 'Prelude," which I finished before I started "Strongmen." I was very happy it didn't cover the same territory as Maddow did. I'd rate it a 7 out of 10.
