Her manager, Devra Hall Levy, who confirmed Wilsons death, said the singer had been ill for a while, and gave no further details.

Her version of "Nearness of You" with George Shearing was my wedding song for my first marriage. My ex took the furniture but I kept the song

She was my grandfather's favorite star. "They don't make them like that, anymore", he's say. She represented an era of star that was equal parts class, glamour, and talent. Well, heaven is a lot more jazzy than it was before her arrival!
