(15,513 posts)"registering and driving folks to the polls" are things that ALL Dem groups should be doing in EVERY SINGLE election!
That is exactly what RW groups have been doing all along.
We can raise scads of money and run plenty of ads with plenty of truths. But without actually getting voters to the polls and ensuring that they can vote, it is all for naught.
I heartily salute the NAACP for its role in this victory!

(62,511 posts)The south having priority in our primaries means that their voice is heard more significantly in our Presidential selection. This facet of our primaries was derided for a year by a certain subset. Now it's paying dividends.

(14,856 posts)I am deeply ashamed of white women who repeatedly throw us all under the bus because of their craziness. I may be crazy, but I'm not crazy enough to vote for a Republican. Ever.

(535 posts)Voted (and vote) 'R' for a pedo, misogynist klansman. Lacking progressiveness as usual. I wish it was just an Alabama thing.

(62,511 posts)And a certain set whined about the south having priority in the primaries.
Thank you AA people. You did this. Clearly and unequivocally.

(58,785 posts)another hit, of course, but the black coalition especially deserves some victories. Let's hope Alabama's PoC, along with Alabama women and young voters of all colors, of course, just made this election the pivot point of our nation's direction.

(15,513 posts)voters! I am NOT at all impressed with AL's non-AA voters, but am not surprised. I am especially disappointed in non-AA women!
SHAME ON THEM!

(14,856 posts)I live among such women in TN. It's very depressing, to say the least.
Yes, shame on them! And thank you to Alabama's AA voters!
