Well I am glad that the Iowa cop killer is off the streets

A few things bother me though.

First of all, is it just me or did the press and social media get quiet once his photo was released? Was that my imagination?

Here is an unsurprising but infuriating fact about the "all lives matter" racist fuckwits - THEY ARE SILENT TODAY.

Second - Killing cops while white doesn't get you killed, but being suspected of stealing a pack of Black and Mild cigars will get you killed graveyard dead if you're a black teenager in Missouri

Fuck this... Sorry to vent

peace

Where his hands up like the black guy's in Tulsa?

Was he sitting in his car, warning the cop that he had a carry permit and a weapon like the black guy in Minn.?

Was he on his back and being straddled like the black guy in Louisiana?

Guess not, all those guys were shot point blank and were black.

Wonder if they took him to MacDonald's like they did the church murderer in Charleston?

was he buying a bb gun?

was he a fucking 12 year old with a goddamn toy?

My mind is bleak and my heart weeps for the future of this country.

If you saw me next to the average Trump follower you couldn't tell me from him...

But I am continuously sickened by the attitudes, willful ignorance and grating entitlement of people who look just like I do.

This a video that he posted on youtube after an run in with police at a football game. Apparently he thought it would be a good idea to sit in the stands with a group of African American students and wave the confederate flag during the national anthem. He was asked to leave the game and Urbandale officers were there to escort him from the scene.

Also, he ambushed both officers. They were sitting in their cars and had no chance to respond. I am sickened by this. I don't mean to trivialize all the bad officer involved shootings, I know we have bad officers out there but we have a lot of good ones also who just do their jobs.

I haven't followed this story as I've been away from the news. Thank you for pointing it out TPMS.

962 people killed by police this year alone, as MrScorpio mentioned in another thread here today.

in 2014.

They had state funerals with tens of thousands of brother officers who came in from out of state to mourn them, and people donated large sums of money to support their families and for the education of their children.

The rank and file in the NYPD also blamed the mayor for the shooting for having admitted that he'd warned his biracial son about how to deal with the police.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_killings_of_NYPD_officers

However, earlier in 2014, when two loons from the Bundy Ranch ambushed and killed two Las Vegas cops while they were eating lunch in a WalMart earlier that year, the level of outrage wasn't even comparable.

Moreoever, there was no backlash whatsoever towards the Bundy clan for their anti-government rhetoric. People were still cheering them on for "sticking it to Obama."

Planned Parenthood shooter even though he was regurgitating, word-for-word, the propaganda that the Republican primary candidates had been spouting about that bogus sting video.

He was dismissed as a "loon" and a "loon wolf" and there was very little outrage over the death of the officer that he killed.

It's like Jon Stewart said on Colbert's show a few months ago. The Blue Lives Matter crowd is full of it. The same people at the RNC who were yelling and screaming about the cops in Texas and Lousiana who were killed spent years blocking the 9/11 first responders bill.
