(26,607 posts)7. Yes, I am so tired of the constant trashing
of Medicare Advantage plans here. They are NOT the devil incarnate. They pay for lots, and lots of stuff.
Recently I fell down and sustained a compression fracture of the ulna on my right arm. Went to an emergency room. I recently got the final bill. A bit over $6,000. I paid $90.00.
In a better system, I might have paid zero, but ninety bucks isn't that bad.

I honestly can't recall the original charges, less than $20/per prescription, not very much money, but still. Zero copay? Wow.
