I answered a survey about my last visit to Oak Street Health. Now they want me to call them

I simply laid out the details of that nightmare visit but never expected to hear from them. I let them know I've now been seen by 4 different providers just in the past year so there's no chance to get comfortable with anyone and that the attitude of the last one left me stunned and beyond stressed. I was careful to add that this visit was an anomaly and that their support staff is great but that it's a bad sign when you arrive for an routine 'wellness' appointment feeling good but leave feeling stressed and exhausted.

So I will call them. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe Monday so I can carefully think out and write myself a sort of talking points list.

I have a feeling my therapist is going to be MOST unhappy when I bring this up at tomorrow morning's appointment. He is already concerned about the inconsistency of providers I've been seeing. See, he understand anxiety. That last provider I saw was clueless.

You are very wise to write out a talking points list. Your concerns will be very clear. LoisB Jun 2023 #1

I always make one before any important phone conversation with anyone, and also before an office visit to my doctor.

Good luck! Which you theoretically shouldn't need when dealing with health care. Giving your cats some hugs and lap time should deal with any blood pressure issues.
