This will help me talk to my mom & stepdad because since they are Fox News addicts, they are scared to death of Obamacare & its effect on Medicare.

I'm 63 and in my sixth year of no healthcare (no insurance).

Using the chart and only including items with direct effect on Medicare recipients, I see:
1. Lower drug costs and Free preventive services
2. Lower drug costs
3.
4. Free preventive services
5.

Please correct my misunderstandings. Thanks.

you probably picked up on most of it.

My Mom is in her 80s and I can't see her getting much more out of it either - she falls into the donut hole every year by April.

We are in Southern California and, according to friends, it is difficult to find doctors accepting Medicare because of the reduction in reimbursement -- with more reductions promised. Doctors have to look at the business side, too, because medicine is just another (sorry, stopping rant mid-sentence).

I was browsing around and saw some interesting stuff. I've bookmarked it to read more carefully when I have the time. I hope others take the time to click the link and peruse the site.

Thanks for cross posting this Triana.
