Willie Mays was my favorite player growing up. Yes, I am a Cardinals' fan (period). Willie was just the greatest player that I ever got to see play (1967 in St. Louis - the Cards won the game and won it all that year as Gibby was untouchable in the Series). I got to see him make a backet catch. He got a single, too.
