The lazy (or ignorant) people of the Associated Press didn't identify in this story which Istanbul Airport that a FedEx aircraft landed at.
Probably not SAG airport. I didn't see any Fed Ex there.
Note: SAG Airport is on the Asia side. The other big one is on the European side.

(8,442 posts)SAG Airport appeared to me as only passengers. SAG is newer and bigger, but is known to international passengers as Istanbul Airport

In fact, I had flown into SAG which is close to the Mediterranean on the Asian side.
