Merlin has finally advanced to another stage

His 'woogies' have finally developed. Now, to be fair, even at 10 days old it was obvious this was a male kitten. I use the 'distance between the holes' method of gender determination and those holes definitely indicated male.

However, the scrotum continued to look almost empty. Things should be showing up by about 2 months and he's past the 3 month stage and fast approaching 4. The last time I took him to the vet, the Dr. checked and got a really funny look on his face. That's when he said we'd have to wait at least a few months before scheduling his surgery.

Well, they've made their appearance so hopefully when I take him back to the vet, within the next 2 weeks, he will be big enough for vaccinations AND scheduling neutering.

Meanwhile, he remains a rocket propelled kitten who delights me by crab walking, nuzzling, playing with Arthur, sharing my breakfast, purring and falling asleep on me. He even picked a fight with his reflection in a mirror.

My goal is to get some New Year photos of the whole gang. Wish me luck.

When they hit the what you so aptly refer to as the “woogie” stage of development their rambunctiousness multiplies exponentially just like their human compatriots 😹😹 Being a sorcerer kitty 🐈‍⬛ he’s apt to conjure up all sorts of playful mischief 😺 Spaying will, as you surmise, hopefully calm that down although being a sorcerer I hope he doesn’t conjure up replacements post surgery 😹😹😺

He's so "out of control"!

I love that he does all the wild kitten antics, they can make a person laugh so hard...
