Related: About this forumToday is an important anniversary for me. Three years ago, today, I became a kitten mom.
I first spotted some tiny creatures in my garden and within an hour I became a mom to TINY KITTENS. Sophie was about 7 months old and Boudicca was just over a year old when they came to my home. I had NO idea how to take care of TINY KITTENS!!
The first photo is Madoc doing his best to hide. His best wasn't good enough. The second is right about the time I caught my breath, sighed, and fell in love. Madoc, Cinder, Smoke and my sweet, beloved Morgan.
It's been a long journey, filled with a lot of grief and a flood of tears but with so much more joy, laughter and love.

(18,524 posts)In that second pic, Madoc really stands out, nestled in that pile of black and gray fur. It sounds like he was a standout from the beginning, in more ways than one!
