As you can see, he never did quite grow in to his ears.

(27,257 posts)It's almost like he asks for permission before he sits on my lap. He slowly approaches and reaches out with one paw to tap my leg. Then he slowly completes the journey and settles in. If I say 'I love you.' he gives me a slow blink. If he knocks something to the floor, it's not intentional. He just bumped in to it and he looks at me with an 'I'm sorry, mom.' expression. Madoc just gives me a look of defiance. Sian blames Madoc.
And Arthur loves to chat with me.
He will always be special because I first time I saw him was on the day he was born and he stole my heart from that moment. I'd go out every day and talk to him and his siblings, even before their ears were open.
Funny thing is, his sister Freya is just the opposite of Arthur. She's a real imp, always trying to escape my niece's house and run free in the yard with her 2 canine siblings. She rules the roost. The one thing they have in common is they are both very talkative.

(92,378 posts)I had the good fortune of getting some kitten time with my neighbor's kittens and mom on Friday. Two of them have marking like Arthur's, I call them tuxedo tabby. 11 weeks old and full of spunk. The mom was Mikey's girlfriend (through the window) when he lived here.
