Related: About this forumIt made me happy to see this, last night.
Gryff, who usually sleeps solo, snuggled up with Carys, gave her a good cat bath and then fell asleep.
It is just so wonderful to see Carys FINALLY interacting with the rest of the kidcats. She's still spending lots of time in which ever room I'm in and she hopped up on my lap several times, yesterday afternoon.
And you should see her at snack time!! Just don't get between her and the squeezable treat! Sometimes she tries to grab it out of my hand and she slices the tube open with her deadly claws of death! She's punctured me a time or two. I'm learned to squeeze some out on the floor for her.
Anyway, here's a new photo

(92,451 posts)She's decided that there's a place for her in the gang.
Also, Gryff has always been the odd one, not related to any of the others, Carys kind of fits that role. I find it interesting that she's bonding with Gryff.
Sweet no matter how you look at it!

(27,261 posts)They were chasing each other around the house, yesterday. When she's had enough, she let him know.
Coming out to play is a big move. Glad she's growing into the group.

(2,067 posts)The same is happening with our Jasper. He's been the aloof one, but things, they are changing.
These two are so sweet. Jasper does the same thing with his claws of death!

(3,010 posts)My cat Jethro, who looks like an older Arthur loves to needle my arm while he's doing biscuits in my lap. That's a gorgeous photo of those two! I'm glad that Carys is coming around!
