Related: About this forumIt's pretty cold, this morning, so I wanted to check to see if the breakfast crowd had arrived
I looked out the den window and got the answer to my question. Sweet Scooter (Carys' mom) was patiently waiting in the Day Lily bed. Everyone else was waiting by the bowls.

(27,268 posts)She still lets me get in an occasional scritch and I can stand right next to her when she eats. The other ferals are getting much more comfortable, too. They all start eating while I'm filling the empty bowls.
As soon as it warms up, I'm going to try sitting on the other side of the walk way while they eat.

(24,299 posts)female ferals are pregnant often, the cats in a feral colony are probably all related to each other to some degree.

(27,268 posts)Carys's facial markings are VERY similar to Lush's. Of course, Lush is a very recent addition to the group.

(24,299 posts)have been hanging out somewhere in the neighborhood and only recently joined your group for meals. The ones who come to your house for feedings might be a part of a larger colony.

Many thanks for sharing The Continuing Saga of Siwsan and her KitCats! with us here, my dear.
Youre a gentle reminder that love and kindness abide, even in the midst of chaos and hate and change.
Love and kindness lift us up to do what must be done. Thats a blessing.

(27,268 posts)Watching Madoc grow from a tiny, scrawny kitten to the big plush boy he is, today. Arthur being such a sweet boy. Gryff settling in as if he'd been with me since birth, and FINALLY winning Carys' trust. Wow.
And slowly winning the trust of the outdoor babies is so amazing. They are all such gifts.
for sharing your adventures with your kittens and cats!
