(92,491 posts)Liking her plight of having been trapped and taken inside, turns out, it's not half bad after all! She looks so content.
It's great that they all get along.

(27,267 posts)When I woke up at 3, this morning, she was the only kitcat on the bed, and she was ready to play. The rest soon hopped up and they all fell back asleep. I didn't, but they did and they were so cute to watch.

(27,267 posts)She's still scampering off during the day but loves to bring whiffle balls near for me to toss and if the boys are on my lap, she will crawl over them to get scritches. She also loves to curl up with me and watch the Djuma Dam Cam live feed.

(24,293 posts)the beautiful kittens that Ember might have produced.
But, knowing the cat overpopulation, I wasn't willing to let that happen. She mellowed a little after being spayed. Before that, she was the most hyperactive kitten I'd ever seen. Also, hissing was her default greeting for strangers. After the surgery, she stopped hissing at people and tolerated being held by me for brief periods.
So spaying does have a calming effect on females.
