Related: About this forumDoes your dog "talk" in his/her sleep?
Audry ('lil Sweet) does.
I don't know how to describe it except maybe to compare it to someone w/ the hiccups, or maybe something akin to a closed-mouth bark.
It makes me wonder what she's dreaming about. I sure hope they're good dreams.

(35,240 posts)This is why I always think that our dreams have no significance at all really. If cats and dogs dream
had several cats that do that. I always imagine they are dreaming about birds. My first cat I had would have bad dreams sometimes. She would wake up run up beside me and hide under the covers. Not sure what she was dreaming about that would scare her.

Additionally, Lily has growly dreams where she's facing off with those pesky squirrels.

(38,955 posts)That's very funny.
Our Rat Terriers are often confused for Jack Russells. I don't see a big similarity between the breeds, but I can't vouch for what other people see.

(14,859 posts)Yeah, I suppose the similarities outweigh the differences to the casual observer.
There's a hybrid Jack-Rat, too.
Seldom a dull moment with a terrier around.

(46,775 posts)He had a little "house" just off the kitchen, and we'd hear him making a "bubble" -like bark when he was sleeping quite often.
It was always funny to hear.

(3,010 posts)One night I was up late. I couldn't sleep so I put Animal Planet on. The show was called The Dogs of Alaska. Samson was probably a Newfie, but he was small for a Newfie. He was lying on his side, sound asleep. The dogs on the TV started howling at the moon. Samson joined right in with them, but he never woke up. As soon as it was over on the TV he stopped as well. I tried not to burst out laughing as I didn't want to wake everyone else up in the house.
